Front Row Fanz: First, can you introduce yourself and tell us a little about your career thus far.
Teddy: My name is Teddy Geiger, and I'm originally from Rochester, New York. I was found from being on "The Partridge Family" reality TV show. [While I was doing the show], a record producer named Billy Mann was there and he started talking to Columbia [Records] for me.
Front Row Fanz: How was your experience on the TV show?
Teddy: It was fun but cheesy. My mom actually made me to it. She forced me to go out and go to the auditions. She thought it would be helpful. Well, I guess it ended up being really helpful. *laughs* But I definitely did not want to win.
Front Row Fanz: Why did you feel that way?
Teddy: Well, I didn't want to do the actual "Partridge Family" show. Plus, I'd be tied into contracts.
Front Row Fanz: Alright, let's talk about the album.
Teddy: It will be released February 14, 2006. It's pop/rock, and I wrote a majority of the album. I had a lot of fun making it. (**Since the interview, Teddy's album "Underage Thinking" has been moved to March 21, 2006.)
Front Row Fanz: While you were writing for this album, what life experiences were you going through?
Teddy: A lot of them are about having to leave and not be around everyone at home. That is like my thing, when people ask what is the hardest thing [about touring], it's me having to be away from everyone. My songs are about that and then just a lot of random stuff.
Front Row Fanz: What would you tell people, who have never heard your music, about your album and why they should go buy it?
Teddy: Wow, I'm not good at that. *pause* I'd really like it if you would come [to my shows] and buy the album.
Front Row Fanz: What is it about your live shows that should draw people in and want to attend?
Teddy: Right now, we're doing an acoustic trio. Normally, we're out there with the band, but this tour we did bass, guitar, and me.
Front Row Fanz: How has the experience been touring with Hilary Duff this summer?
Teddy: Good. It's been really cool because this is my first tour. And everyone on it is really great. It's been cool to show my music to thousands of people out there.
Front Row Fanz: What do you do on your down time?
Teddy: Music. Lots of music.
Front Row Fanz: Do you hang out with Tyler or Hilary?
Teddy: Occasionally we'll go to a movie. But it's pretty laid back.
Front Row Fanz: Have you had any crazy fan encounters yet?
Teddy: No. *pause* At least not yet.
Front Row Fanz: Do you hope to have some in the future?
Teddy: Yeah, I'd like to have some crazy fans because I want to have stories to tell people.
Front Row Fanz: What would you like to say to your fans who will be reading this?
Teddy: Thank you for being my fans because I don't have many.
